While poor little Dylan had to figure out how to do his business.
After shoveling ourselves out,
we made our way to Annapolis to shovel out our daughter since she was out of town during all the “fun.”
This is what Rt. 50 looked like 2 days after the snow stopped falling. Notice we had to drive on the shoulder.
Luckily we found 2 teenagers to help us shovel our way into Alicia & Chris’ house. It took 5 of us 1 ½ hours. Soaking in the hot tub that night was a MUST.
After shoveling ourselves out, on Tuesday it began to snow again, so we watched it from the hot tub. It snowed, and snowed and snowed. Finally finishing about 10:30 on Wed. night, accumulating another 19 inches!
Cabin fever was starting to set in so I went down the street to visit neighbors. Neighbor Larry was busy shoveling out his driveway for the umpteenth time. Notice all the snow in the cul-de-sac behind him.
Grandson, Shane, went sleigh riding with the neighborhood kids.
While walking back home I saw beautiful patterns in the snow. It’s hard to believe it could cause such turmoil.
Everyone celebrated the ending of our blizzard with a beer at the local pub.
We are awaiting another snowfall on Monday (but it’s supposed to be light). OOPS! I just checked the weather and we are expecting a few snow showers tonight, tomorrow morning, Monday and Tuesday…….
