Canadian Rocky Mountains

The drive through Canada was breathtaking. Each day as we said it couldn’t get any prettier, it sure enough does! We thought our mountains on the east coast were big. Then we got to the Rockies, which are even bigger. THEN we got to the Canadian Rockies, which are way bigger!! I’m told that the drive to Alaska is just a pretty, so we can’t wait to do a trip to Alaska! In the summer of course.

As we were driving up one of the mountains, Bobby & Marcia warned us that a mountain sheep was standing there looking thru the window of a parked car, so we were sure to get the picture. By the time we got there, the sheep was looking at us!

I have so many pictures to post of our drive. Most of them were shot through the front window, which wasn’t always the cleanest….. Also, you just can’t capture the beauty and depth of the mountains, unless you spend megabucks on a camera. I had a difficult time choosing which pictures to post because they are all so beautiful.

We have settled into our campground in Calgary were we will stay put for 10 days. YEA … NO MOVING!

Calgary also has beautiful sunsets.
